Designer, creator and perfectionist, Jeremy Simpson has spent 25 years refining his skills and knowledge, to create beautiful works of art - treasures for a lifetime.
Born in Salisbury, England and raised throughout the UK, Jeremy Simpson, the son of a Royal Navy Officer, also served in the Royal Navy before following his passion at the Central School of Art and Design in London. It was there that he received his degree in Industrial Design, moving on to Hong Kong in 1976 where he lived for nearly twenty years.
Jeremy's position on the Hong Kong Trade Development Council as Designer in charge of Special Projects began a journey in wood products design that include Ming Dynasty reproduction furniture, boardroom furniture design, hotel lobby layout and exquisite, innovative, precious boxes.
It was in 1982 that Jeremy started his own venture designing and creating using beautiful decorative veneers from around the world. The lessons and experiences of the past 20 years have culminated in an exquisite line of boxes for many uses including wine, chocolates, jewelry and cigar humidors.
Jeremy Simpson's passion and his depth of talent are reflected in Jeremy Simpson boxes, where he makes use of compound curves creating some of the most innovative designs in box making today.
