This is a gorgeous jewellery box. The curves, while sensual and full-bodied keep the appearance neat and compact and belie the capacity of this full size, full featured gem of a box.
The box is secured with a three-lever lock of great precision, modified by us and gold plated to bring it up to our standards. The hinges of solid brass and gold plated are made to our own design and construction to provide durability and the depth of quality you should reasonably expect for an item of this class and beauty.
The beautiful shape is wrapped in a choice of five stock veneers of extraordinary beauty and variety. The exotic burr veneers are matched in a quartered pattern on the top and book-matched on all sides. Even on the underside of the edges, the veneers are matched to continue the discipline of the pattern. The matching is faultless throughout, in keeping with the quality of the whole construction.
The inside is fitted with a tray, and we mean "fitted", and all is lined with the highest quality Italian Ultrasuede.
